Soft tissue techniques include active release, instrument assisted (graston), trigger point release.
Exercises are individualized based on sport, activities, and abilities of the patient.

Dr. Gaige Hoot is a graduate of D’Youville University’s Chiropractic program. He previously attended Canisius College where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Wellness and Strength and Conditioning.

Dr. Hoot has nearly a decade of experience as a personal trainer, working with clientele ranging from high level athletes to casual gym-goers. While his favorite style of training is a combination of powerlifting and bodybuilding, he prefers to take a methodical approach, placing heavy emphasis on rehabilitation and injury prevention. This focus on injury prevention is something that has shaped how he practices with patients in the office as well. He has a passion for helping others feel and move better, both in and out of the gym setting. Whether you just want to be able to pick up your grandchild without hurting your back or are trying to set a new personal best for deadlift, Dr. Hoot has a specific and varied approach for each of his patients to meet their goals and live their lives pain free.

In addition, Dr. Hoot in his free time has loves to stay active both in the gym with powerlifting and in sports, still playing lacrosse to this day (a sport he is particularly passionate about). Dr. Graig Shapiro is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College where he was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society. Prior to Chiropractic college he attended the University at Buffalo where he graduated with honors with a degree in Exercise Science as well as a Masters degree in Nutrition Science.

Dr. Shapiro has received specialized training in Chiropractic care for athletes, and enjoys treating patients of all levels of physical activity from elite athletes to weekend warriors. In addition to being in private practice since 2012, his past experience includes working with Division 1 collegiate runners, high level Olympic lifting athletes, Crossfit competitors at various competitions, treating participants of local races such as the Buffalo Subaru Chase, and 8 years experience as a personal trainer. He has also had the opportunity to work with persons of varying disabilities from cerebral palsy to amputees. Dr. Shapiro also has the distinct pleasure of being adjunct faculty at Bryant and Stratton College in the Healthcare Department.

Dr. Shapiro is proud to call Buffalo home. In his free time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, and researching topics varying from sleep to nutrition and their effects on athletics.

Dr. Shane Stadtmueller is a graduate of the Chiropractic program at D’Youville College. Before pursuing his doctorate he studied Athletic Training and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Alfred University and earned his Master’s Degree in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo.

Dr. Stadtmueller is currently a licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of New York and has worked with many collegiate athletes in recent years through rehabilitation and prevention of sports-related injuries, ranging from joint sprains to concussions. He has also worked closely with many in the local CrossFit community from the everyday gym-goer to competitive athletes as a Level 1 trainer, helping them to establish proper movement patterns, build general strength and promote an overall healthy and active lifestyle.

Outside of the office Dr. Stadtmueller enjoys anything fitness-related or outdoors (no matter the season) as well as spending time with family and friends. Dr. Stadtmueller is happy to call Buffalo his home and to have the opportunity to work with and help the community he loves.
